The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit – Psalms 34:18
As I write this blog post I feel, so saddened. My heart feels saddened. And I Have no reason to be. My life really is blessed. I have a wonderful husband and an amazing son. We are healthy, happy, safe, warm, and want for nothing. At least not material possessions. But I know that I so feel that our family would be complete with another.
It has been almost 3 years since the vasectomy reversal and after many many attempts, we still fail to succeed. So after I sent James off to work and Noah off to school. I truly broke down. In the bathtub, crying like I would never heal. All I can think and pray to go to please send us a baby, not just me but James and Noah. Noah has been wanting and praying for a sibling for so long. And I feel like I am not a good enough mother or wife to be blessed with another child. I am trying my best. Or maybe I am not a good enough Christian, or good enough person. But I do know God has a plan for us, and I repeated that over and over. But I just wish he would reveal that his timing is now. I just ask for his comfort to get me through not just the happy times but the hard times, the broken times. I pray that I see his light soon. I pray that this blessing does happen. I have seen miracles, healing and love through Jesus, I just pray that at some point I see our healing in this area. I felt Like Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth, on knees weeping, crying out for God to bless their womb.
He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. – Psalms 147:3
I know God will heal this wound I feel we are carrying. That we are all carrying. I pray for my husband, because I know he feels like he has failed. I pray for Noah that he does not feel alone when he yearns for a sibling. I pray that He heals us and blesses us with what we have been praying for.
Am I a bad Christian for praying for this. But I know I need to keep my faith, trust in the Lord, because I know when he does bless us with a baby it will truly be such a loving miracle he has brought us.

Carlise

Tasty Tuesday: Chile Relleno Beef Casserole
Tasty Tuesday has been at
a standstill as I haven’t cooked anything too terribly out of the ordinary. I
have been gearing up for Thanksgiving and all my fudge recipes that are already
typed out and ready for posting in December. YAY!! Anywho.
So yesterday, I had ground
beef and green chile out of the freezer. If you know me, I am from New Mexico,
and my mom sends me Hatch, NM green chile, because in Massachusetts, we cannot
get them. So… I knew I had to make
something for dinner. So I already make chile relleno casserole. I just added
grownd beef. So here is the recipe! It is yummy! Enjoy!
Chile Rellenos Casserole
Ingredients
2-4 servings ◦1
lb. ground beef ◦1/4 onion (chopped) ◦1 10 oz. can whole green
chilies ◦1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese ◦2 eggs ◦3/4
cups milk ◦1/8 cup flour ◦1 tsp cumin ◦1/2
tsp salt ◦1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 375F. Cook
hamburger meat and onion. Drain, then add cumin, salt, and pepper. Line the
bottom of your pan with whole green chiles (chop extra green chiles for later).
Layer meat over green chiles. Top with cheese and chopped green chiles. Whisk
together eggs and milk, then add flour and mix well. Pour this mixture over
dish. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve right away while everything is hot and
cheese is melted. Yum

Tasty Tuesday: No Peek Beef Tips
If you are like me, you want to peek at the food as it is cooking,
because it is so yummy and smells heavenly.
This is one recipe.. I DO NOT PEEK.. As hard as it is. I have to keep
myself and everything else in my house.
I also turn this into stroganoff.
By adding sour cream at the end. That is totally optional. SO here it
is.
Ingredients:
2lbs of beef tips,
stew meat, or chuck roast
1 can cream of mushroom
1 packet onion soup
1 cup of water
Directions:
1.
Put meat in 9x13 casserole dish
2.
Mix all other ingredients together in separate
bowl
3.
Pour over meat. Cover with foil on top.
4.
Place in oven at 300 degrees for 3 hours…… NO
PEEKING!
You can serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice.
I put it over egg noodles and mix sour cream towards the end for a stroganoff feel.

Excuse the paper plate, i didn't want to do more than I had to in dishes tonight.
ENJOY!

Tasty Tuesday: Chicken Florentine (Pampered Chef Recipe)
Hello All! Happy Tasty Tuesday! Today I am bringing a recipe
I have had forever. It comes from pampered chef. I love it and wanted to share
it. It is Chicken Florentine Ring. It is an easy, semi-homemade recipe for all
who love it. Anywho’s here is the recipe.
Ingredients:
|
1 (10 ounce) can chunk white chicken,
drained and flaked
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper (optional)
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped
spinach, thawed and well drained
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions:
1.
Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F.
2.
Mix chicken, red bell pepper, spinach, Cheddar cheese,
mayonnaise, lemon zest, salt, and nutmeg together in a large bowl. Set aside.
Unroll crescent roll dough, and separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles
in a circle on a 13-inch baking stone or pizza pan with the wide ends of the
triangles overlapping in the center and points facing out. The center
diameter should be about 5-inches. Scoop chicken mixture evenly onto the
widest end of each triangle. Bring the outer point of each triangle towards
the center of the circle and tuck the point under the wide end of the dough.
The filling will not be completely covered.
3.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 20 to 25
minutes. Slice and serve.
|
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated
crescent rolls

Love and Blessings,
Carlise

Manic Monday!
Hello My Loves,
We had such a great day yesterday going to the Apple Hill Farm in Concord, NH. It was about an hour and a half from our house. It was a lovely drive. Today is a holiday so James is home. This weekend was rare as he didn't have to work all weekend. It was amazing to have him home or good to not have to rush from football game to football game to check on his various color guards. So it was nice to have him to ourselves.
Anywho, we went to pick apples. We had a blast. Now I have to figure out what to do with my bunch of apples I have. Any apple recipes are appreciated! So here are some pictures from yesterday!
